Pro Staff Robert Fanucci

I was raised in Georgia where I now reside on the edge of the Okefenokee Swamp in Waycross. I spend most of my childhood enjoying the outdoors and I used my learned skills to  help me obtain Eagle Scout.  I spent 5 years in the US Army and that is where my love of handguns really started. After leaving the military, I began my career in the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller, where I worked for 25 years. I am now retired and spend much of my free time pursuing my passion of handguns and handgun hunting. I am strictly a handgun hunter. A few years ago I harvested an antelope using one of my Specialty pistols at 926 yards. I burnt a barrel out just practicing for that hunt. I’ve harvested more that 200 whitetail deer and also have taken many wild boar, antelope, elk, turkey and numerous exotics.  I’ve hunted all over the US and was blessed to have gone to Africa on a handgun safari in 2005. I also actively compete in Precision Pistol matches.  I’ve hunted with revolvers, Contenders/Encores, MOA Corp, and XP100s.   I am a member of the Varmint Hunters 500 yard club, and I was a HHI member from 1985 until it folded in 2017.
